As we prepare to send another group of graduates off into the “real world” I want to share my experiences as the school administrator for the past 2 years and seeing the growth of our students. Since our program is a 12 month journey I have the privilege of watching the transformation of student to graduate. Through out the year I have been blessed to see many students come into the school timid and unsure change into self confident people, and not just from the massage therapy aspect. I see the energy of many change and their accomplishment once they obtain their license and the joy and smiles on their face makes the 12 months of hard work worth it!! Congratulations to Class 5, I am so proud and blessed to have shared this experience with you.

The students have been excited to get to work and learn, learn, learn. Last week Georgi Abelinda kicked off Massage Technique instruction. With over 16 years of experience Georgi brings a unique style of teaching which instantly puts students at ease and excited to learn this core foundation of Swedish Massage. Each class begins with a meditation to assist students to calm and center themselves so that they are open and grounded and ready to learn. Georgi has the natural ability to teach from the heart and with her passion for teaching it is easy to see why she becomes a favorite amongst the students. Currently we offer our Student Clinic Massages to the public on Monday, Wednesday & Friday evenings at 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45. Starting Saturday July 26th we will be adding Saturday evenings. The current rate for these massages are $30.00 for an hour appointment with a Student Therapist, $40.00 for an hour appointment with a Licensed Therapist.
