TUITION

Full Tuition for students who complete the entire 600-hour program is $4,300 plus 4.167% state tax. All tuition options include the 600 hour program, books, 1 holster w/8 oz of oil, and a massage table sheet set.

TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS

OPTION ONE: Full tuition paid in advance is $4,300 plus 4.167% state tax (less your $350 registration deposit)

OPTION TWO: One payment of $2,117 before term One. A second payment of $2,117 before Term Two. The total of the two tuition payments and the $350 registration deposit is $4,400 plus tax.

OPTION THREE: Ten monthly payments of $444.00. The total of 10 tuition payments and the $350 registration deposit is $4,600 plus tax.

OPTION FOUR: Individual courses may be attended on a space available basis at a tuition rate of $14 per instructional hour. This is equal to a total tuition cast of $8,400 for the 600 hour program. Student who withdraw and do not complete the program are charged at the Option Four rate.

ADDITIONAL COSTS: Besides tuition cost there is an application fee of $35, massage supplies of approximately $100. Access to a massage table at home is required for outside practice assignments. ASMT students who wish to purchase a massage table through the school will receive a discount. Hawaii State goods and services tax of 4.167% will be added to all fees including books, supplies and tuition.

FINANCIAL AID

STUDENT LOANS may be available through banks and private lending institutions. Depending on the class size, ASMT also offers limited scholarship grants for special low income students. Inquire for availability and eligibility.

ENROLLMENT PROCESS

To enroll, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or the equivalent. Applicants must submit a completed ASMT application, a current photo and a $35 non-refundable application fee. All applicants will then have a personal interview with ASMT admissions staff.

Telephone interviews will be arranged for applicants residing out of state. You will then be sent a letter telling you of the outcome of your application.

After acceptance, you must send a non-refundable $350 deposit to hold your space in the upcoming program, which is applied toward your tuition. Students with prior massage training, as well as apprentices, are welcomed into the program.
